Zero Carbon World

What is a Zero Carbon World?

Zero Carbon World

Traditional energy sources like coal and gas produce carbon dioxide among other gasses when they are burned to fuel power stations. Zero carbon means that no carbon emission are being produced form a product or service (for example, a wind farm generating electricity.) To be able to claim net-zero carbon you will need to achieve the full emissions reductions (90-95%) and then offset the remaining 5-10% of emissions via projects that remove carbon from the atmosphere.
